How Canvas Color Quantization Works Locally
When you load an image, the browser renders it into an off-screen HTML5 Canvas context. The script reads raw RGBA pixel data via `getImageData()`, groups colors in 3D RGB color space using Median Cut box-splitting, and computes the weighted centroid of the largest color clusters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my images sent to an external server for palette extraction?
No. All pixel sampling and color grouping algorithms execute locally inside your web browser.
